Authenticity

General Information:

Prior to presenting our quote, we research the specific details of your item. Primarily the brand, style, leather, hardware, inclusions, model number, & present condition. We research the current & past market regarding the popularity, inventory, pricing and our clientele - among other aspects. You are welcome to refuse our original proposal & present a counter-offer to us if you would like.

Shipping and Handling:

Shipping to and from TA Boutique LLC & all fees associated with shipping such as shipping costs, taxes, and customs (if applicable) etc is solely the responsibility of the party consigning their item to our boutique. In person drop-off & pick up is in Austin, Texas or a convenient agreed upon location for both our boutique & the consignee. We do keep your item(s) in a secure & light/temperature-controlled environment. We handle your items carefully for inspection, authentication, photography/videography, & at times for client viewings.

Authenticity & Condition:
Non-authentic items received are subject to fees associated with authentication services, shipping fees, & a $300 service fee. Failure to pay within two (2) weeks will result in item being destroyed & disposed of.*

*EXCEPTIONS: Counterfeit Hermes &/or Chanel handbags will cause a $500 service fee, in addition to reimbursement of our authentication costs and shipping costs.

We require full transparency & if items are found to be not in the condition it was presented in during the quote process, we will have to make changes with the quoted amount. If items are altered/repaired and not disclosed during and after the sale, we will require the Client to compensate TA Boutique LLC for the costs associated with any price adjustments.
Terms:

Consignment term is 60 days. The term starts from the day the item(s) actually gets publicly listed (post authentication). The Consignment term can be extended and a new sale price will be adjusted as per agreed. Maximum term is 4months. If item has not been purchased then client will need to make arrangements for shipping. Items NOT retrieved after 2 weeks (14 days) after the close of arranged consignment duration will be considered abandoned & donated or destroyed. The consignment term can be extended for certain items, as agreed by both parties. Items are subject to $150 service fee plus authentication costs if asked to be returned before the agreed term.*

*EXCEPTION: Authentic Hermes & Chanel handbags & $500 service fee plus authentication costs.
Fees:

We no longer have a fixed rate. We ask the Client for the amount they want to get back after the sale. We then calculate our fees and taxes to be added on top of the asking price. If doable, we then accept the item/s to sell. Client can present a counter-offer.

We have a $100 minimum fee for per item consigned.
Payment:

We will pay our clients via CashApp, Melio, PingPong, Venmo, or Zelle. Apps for money transfers have both daily limits and payments might take a few days to start, and a few days to complete the entire payment depending upon when the bank clears them & the payment app the client selects terms & conditions.

Sales:

Upfront sales are paid immediately. Items sold on Layaway are paid to the consigner as soon as we get paid-in-full by our buyer. In case of buyer non-payment or voided layaway plans, item(s) will be relisted. Sold items are final & cannot be reversed.
Conditions:

•We are only accepting high-end designer items at this time.

•No mid-end designers like Tory Burch, Kate Spade, Michael Kors &/or Coach etc.

•We are not accepting Pandora &/or Tiffany & Co etc silver accessories. We do accept gold or platinum pieces & pieces with precious gemstones.

•Only shoes, handbags, & jewelry in high-demand by a reputable luxury designer & style will be accepted at this time, as per Consignee discretion.

• We only except items in NWT (new with tags), brand new (without tags), &/or pristine (like new) condition. We cannot accept items that are too old, are dirty, with bad smell, with extensive damage or significant signs of use.

•We reserve the right to refuse item/s.

•We require you full name, full address, phone number, email, & a picture of your government issued ID before consigning.

•Handing over your item/s to us is confirming that you agree with our terms & policy.

•We advise you send us information using our Consignment Form so Consignor/Consignee have easy access to all information in regard to the transaction.
Advertising:

We post new arrivals weekly for maximum exposure for each item. We process in order of receipt of items and when authentication results are confirmed. We make every reasonable effort to feature and advertise your items on our various social media platforms. Item value & popularity determines, which platforms we feature your item on, and how often we advertise it. In addition to our website, we frequently advertise on the following platforms including but not limited to: YouTube, Instagram, Etsy, Facebook, Facebook Marketplace, TikTok, TikTok Shop, Craigslist, Poshmark, Mercari, EBay, Pinterest &/or many others.

We have partnered with some influencers & other consignment shops so if you see your item featured please email us to inquire. If you want your item to sell faster please contact us to make sale price adjustments.

Since we are an American company, all our prices and quotes are in USD. This applies to EVERYONE , including our international clients. Our website prices will reflect a higher amount than our social media platforms due to added Credit Card Processing fees.
